When I travel, I aim to pack only one or two pairs of sunglasses. I’m an over-packer, so this is hard for me. I also love to pack items in my wardrobe that are inspired by the city I’m travelling to. So when my mom, mother-in-law, and I booked our girls’ weekend to London, I knew just the pair of CRANNs to bring along for the trip.

We spent three days shopping at boutiques, ticking off as many visits to different Ivy restaurants as possible, and enjoying girl time! Keep reading to see what I wore and where I wore it.

Traveling + Dinner

Our first stop was dinner at Carlotta, one of the Big Mamma chain’s newest restaurants. The decor was funky, the staff was lovely, and the food was 10/10! I kept my outfit neutral with basic jeans, a black linen blazer, and a bright floral top. Packing neutral basics always makes planning outfits easier if you don’t feel like wearing what you brought.

Selfridges + Exploring Mayfair & The Ivy Asia

Somehow, I didn’t get a proper outfit photo, but after a few glasses of rosé, I took a mirror selfie in the gorgeous Ivy Asia bathroom! Another fabulous meal that I’ll be dreaming about until next time. Today I wore another city chic outfit featuring a houndstooth blazer and black loafer slides.

Harrods, The Ivy Collection, Buckingham Palace, Soho & Dinner

We spent the day walking to every destination and soaking up the sun! You guys know maxi dresses are my favourite in the summer. My sweet Mom got me this while shopping in London, and I couldn’t help myself and had to wear it. Neon green screams “holiday”.

Before leaving Soho for dinner, we stopped for happy hour at Bob Bob Richard. I’ve had it on my London list for YEARS and finally decided to go. It was such a fabulous, well-done restaurant that inspired our creative brains. Plus, the cocktails weren’t so bad, either.

Exploring Notting Hill

We ended our trip with a little journey to Notting Hill for pastries, books, and vintage shopping. If you ever find yourself in the Notting Hill Book Shop, be sure to ask them to stamp your book! I wore yet another trip purchase for our last day - my new black tweed blazer and classic white top! How perfect do these sunglasses look with this capsule wardrobe outfit?

It was a fabulous long weekend with my two gals! London, you never disappoint!

See y’all next time!
