It’s time to break out the coats! Here are six coat styles to enhance your winter wardrobe.
THE FAUX FUR. A statement coat or two is handy when you want to elevate your outfit. I took mine to Italy and styled it with jeans during the day and skirts at night. This style is perfect to pair your oversized CRANNs with!
BLACK LEATHER. There’s a reason the leather jacket has been in style forever, and it’s another style that you can easily transform from day to night.
FORMAL CHIC. To achieve the gorgeous monochromatic look, you need the perfect neutral coat. Something about tone on tone can make a simple outfit look elegant. This is one of my favorite current trends.
GILET UPGRADE. I was a massive fan of the gilet this year, and the style was and is everywhere! Upgrade your gilet for a long puffer jacket to keep you cozy in the winter. Channel your inner New Yorker by going for a black coat!
BUSINESS INSPO. Have a meeting in town? This style is my go-to! It’s got a “smart” look, and the color looks great with neutral or a pop of color.
THE TRENCH. It couldn’t not include this classic style. This style would be so fun to find thrift as trench coats have been popular since the 1820s.
